Amazing food and extremely friendly staff. We had the braised pork belly that was just mind-blowing ! 100% recommended !

Panorama is a wonderful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is so kind and warm and the craft beer they are selling, made in Yakushima, is definitely to taste! I recommend the craft beer made with a fruit of the region: tankan. About the food, the best was the braised pork belly. It is very cheap for the quality! To try absolutely if you wish to taste local ingredients!

The food, when it eventually arrived (1 and 1/2 hours after ordering) was delicious! Except: 800 yen for the calamari in seasonal veg, was in reality a small tapas-y plate of about 5 strips of calamari and some okra. Considering that was the only thing we ordered for our main, having waiting 90mins for that they could have maybe asked if we wanted anything else to go with it!That being said, staff were extremely friendly, and the craft beer (flavoured with Tankan) was delicious. I also recommend the potato pizza for a starter. The potato fries were quite dry, and even a second request for more ketchup wasn’t enough.

The PANORAMA .Nicely designed bar/restaurant. The young chef will surprise you with tasty food. Very reasonnable price as well. Very good mood.

When you want to go to the stylish shop in Yakushima, this shop is recommended.In the shop, there are two big tables as ten people can sit.There are eight seats in a counter table.

It is a wonderful space with an open atmosphere where both locals and tourists gather.Liver liver putty of birds with baguette slices → Going with family will make you happy (^ ^)

We love this restaurant. Inventive, delicious food - so good we went two nights in a row. Some dishes that stood out were the fried flying fish, the avocado starter, the medium rare chicken (careful this is close to raw on purpose), the vegetarian don (avocado and tofu on rice - available on request) and the sweet potato dessert. Make sure to try the local beer and the passionfruit wine. Prices were reasonable for app + main + dessert + drinks - about 3000 yen per person. The owner/chef is warm and welcoming, and spent time as a sushi chef in California before returning to Japan. Our server was lovely - she went above beyond and even helped us sort out some of the details for our next day’s hike. Thank you for the great experience!!!

We had a brilliant Motsu Nabe that kept us warm the whole windy night. It was well balanced, and the intestines had a great bite, and it melts too. The chicken wing was also another highlight. Absolutely “fall-off-the-bone” tender and delicious. Yummy to the very last cartilage. The local produce, the flying fish was also amazing if you love seafood. All in all a restaurant with a warm welcoming ambience coupled with TOP star food. MUST VISIT.

Spacious bright and wooden atmosphere, nice music. Places to sit at a bar and big tables. The chef is very experienced and started his own place. You can taste his passion for food. Menu is japanese with a mix of foreigner inspirations. We had the patatoe pizza, fresh delecious vegies from the island, mackarel sashimi. All very good!! Try the yakushima passion fruit wine!!

Wonderful place in to have some lunch. We were served by a most friendly and hard working couple, who run this restaurant. Great modern atmosphere where most of the wooden furniture was made by the owner himself!

A warm, cozy space that has delicious food! We had the pork belly, flying fish cutlet and the sashimi set and rice which was just enough - consider around 4 sets of dishes between 2 people for reference. The service was friendly (good English!) and having English menus are always a plus. Definitely try to reserve because it gets full!

A restaurant that thankfully is open late- most other places on Yakushima close quite early. The chicken pate is the best I’ve had in Japan. Everything on the menu is outstanding.

Nice and cosy atmosphere, but very pricey food for the quantity. Chicken wings and meat skewers come one by one, surprisingly ! Wait was also very long even though we were very few. Friendly staff but disappointing experience overall.

The fish and food was ffing amazing!!! We tried fish we never ate before (which was very fresh and delicious) and ate vegetables we've never even seen before (some very delicious and some very special. Haha). And with ~very~ friendly staff that speaks English very well, this restaurant was truly an amazing experience! Highly recommended.

Yakushima It is the most fancy shop in the shop that I saw for two days and three days. There is a shop that has an incredibly well-decorated shop on a small island, so I heard a little bit of heterogeneity (not bad intentions).I went to Trip Advisor rankings well. Yakushima Although the price is expensive, I personally seem to have been much more expensive than sheep. The amount was also very small compared to the price. I do not think that taste was so good. Food also comes out late. I just like the store.I recommend going somewhere else instead of here.

Very delicious food, but better reserve before go there, we are so lucky to go there without reservation, they give us the table outside. But some food sold out.

Great food, incredible service. Very English-friendly for any visitors who might not be able to read a Japanese menu. So nice we ate there twice.

The sun was setting and it was starting to rain. I debated about going to the supermarket and staying in for the night. Thankfully I made the trek out to this neighborhood restaurant. I arrived just as they were opening. Even as the first customer the atmosphere was great. The chef and hostess spoke English well and were beyond friendly. The hostess had a really motherly vibe. I ordered the sashimi, fried flying fish and vegetable plate. I was blown away by the quality of the sashimi. The bonito was the star of the fish. The vegetable plate was a perfect match for the heavy fried flying fish. Top 5 meal I've had in Japan. Not expecting such a good meal.

Don’t miss out on the sashimi moriawase, even if you’re not really feeling like having fish. I didn’t know tobiuo could taste this good. The freshest produce is matched in quality by warm hospitality.

Love it! It’s places like this that make a person want to move to Yakushima. Delicious food, extremely friendly and conversational staff, and a chill vibe to boot. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Yakushima.

The food was really delicious and the staff very friendly. We went for dinner in Panorama 2 out of 3 nights because we enjoyed this place so much.

Food is great esp fried flying fish and doke don but a but pricy.

Excellent food, the chefs clearly appreciate the balance of flavours in each dish. We really liked the potato based pizza with truffle oil. The desserts are delicious too!

World-class, Michelin-Star level food. So tasty, so simple, so great! Unbelievable. Came with no expectations and was seduced by the superb taste of all the plates. I am not hungry anymore, but would keep ordering just to discover the other pleasant dishes they have on the menu. A must taste if you come to this island. One of the many reasons to come here if you are undecided. This is an island of wonders.

Great food - if you are veggie you can ask for any meal with tofu to replace the meat, as I did - I had the donburi and it was small but more than enough. It’s pricier than some other places, but the food is delicious and the staff are fantastic - really helpful and up for a laugh. Eat at the bar and you can watch all the food be prepared. Lots of tourists come here, and it’s clear why as the food and staff are wonderful.

The food is fantastic. The staff is very friendly.But very unfortunately we found the service to be significantly slow. A fairly simple to prepare dish took an incredibly long time, significantly longer than everything else. It was a the only issue we had, otherwise this restaurant was wonderful.Note that it is also very popular, so it is worth making a reservation. The staff speaks English and there are English menus available as well. Oh, and when the menu says "medium rare chicken" they mean it, so be prepared for that if you decide to order it!

Love this place. Top quality food served in style. A huge contrast to some of the more dated looking restaurants you can find, this is modern, friendly and with damn tasty food. Highly recommended

The best fried tofu I have ever eaten... Couldn't stop eating the food here... They had to kick us out cause we wouldn't stop eating... So be careful with the pocket xD
